		Realtors Care Foundation

The Realtors Care Foundation is a charitable program created by the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) designed to help those in need of a home. As a Realtor and a Fellow of this foundation, one of the most rewarding things I do is help individuals and families find the perfect home. This foundation helps work towards that goal through its support of shelter related charities in Ontario. Each year, the Foundation helps families in need of emergency and permanent housing by working with charities like Home Ownership Affordability Partnership (HOAP), Habitat for Humanity, Shelters (Cambridge Shelter, A Place called Home, Out of the Cold, and Unity Project), Community living and hospices.
The work of the OREA Foundation is made possible through the generous support of Realtors province wide and local Real Estate Boards from across Ontario. Supporters contribute to the foundation in many ways.

- Donating money to the Foundation in lieu of gifts, arranging a planned gift of life insurance to the Foundation by naming the Foundation as the beneficiary, Providing the Foundation with fundraising ideas that you are willing to organize, attending OREA special events and Helping to direct the Foundation as a member of the Board of Governors.

The most amazing part of this Foundation is that one hundred (100%) percent of all fundraising efforts go directly to supporting shelters across the province. This is due to the generosity of the Ontario Real Estate Association which covers all the administrative costs of the Foundation. A tax receipt is also available upon request with all donations.
